Green Poly House, also called poly tunnel, is set-up at field and used by farmers for polyhouse farming. Under controlled climatic conditions, several species of plants are grown and developed. It is a small version of greenhouse whose structure is made of polythylene. Crops that can be grown in Green Poly House are flowers (rose, orchid, marigold and more), vegetables (chilli, onion, spinach, tomato, capsicum and more), and fruits (strawberry, papaya, etc.). When grown under controlled temperature, the crops are less susceptible to damage. Non seasonal crops can also be grown in poly house, as there is no impact of external climate inside the structure.
